We’ve spoken with many of our motorcycle insurance clients who think this time of year is the best time to go for a ride. It’s not too cold and the hot Atlanta summer sun isn’t shining down on us yet. If your motorcycle hasn’t been driven much through winter it’s a good idea to run some routine maintenance before that first ride of spring.<\/p>\n

Here are 4 of the most important maintenance tasks to consider before taking your bike out this spring:<\/p>\n

1) Inspect the Battery<\/h3>\n

Make sure your battery is still in good condition by checking for clean terminals with secure connections. If you have not driven the bike in a long time and you have a battery tester it’s a good idea to check it to be sure it’s still recharging properly.<\/p>\n

2) Replace & Top Off Your Fluids<\/h3>\n

Check the bike for any leaks and if you haven’t changed the oil in a long time it might be a good idea to do so if the bike has been sitting without being turned on or off for a long time.<\/p>\n

Check the following fluids to be sure you’re not low and replace or top them off if necessary:<\/p>\n
